San Marino

San Marino is a country in Southern Europe. Located within eastern Italy, it is one of only three countries in the world to be enclaved by another country. The other two are Vatican City and Lesotho. It is the fifth-smallest country in the world and the third-smallest country in Europe after Vatican City and Monaco. While San Marino has no coastline, it is just six miles from Italy’s Adriatic coast.
